Outreach & Ministries

Currently we are in an all-church study of The Story- a chronological telling of the Bible. Adult Study Times:

• Monday Evening: 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
• Thursday Morning: 10 am - 11 am

Adult Sunday School meets Sunday mornings at 9 am.

UMYF Youth Group (grades 6-12) meets Wednesday evenings 7-8p

Cedar Valley Friends of the Family: provides safe shelter, housing assistance, and confidential support to individuals and families affected by homelessness, domestic violence, and sexual assault. 

Food Pantries:  Waverly (Bremer County), Shell Rock (Butler County), and Waterloo (Blackhawk County)

Good Samaritans (Waverly Area Ministerial Assoc): providing multi-faceted assistance to families in need

Backpack Program: providing nourishing meals for weekends for local school children

Catholic Worker’s House: an ecumenical mission preparing and serving meals to those in need

Cedar Valley Hospice

Wartburg College: providing internships and employment for Music Department students

Online Ministry: Website, YouTube, and FaceBook
